Radical Action Plan: A Follow Up

Last weekend was a very interesting one.  I got everything I wanted accomplished except for the goal “work 30 hours for work.”  I didn’t turn off the phone and my brother called to spend time with me.  We haven’t just “hung out” in months so I said sure as long as I get my goals done.  I spent most of the weekend just doing stuff with him, and I still got my goals accomplished.  I did them way faster than I even thought possible because I knew I wanted to go do stuff rather than take a long time on each goal.  Which really began to make it clear how quickly a person really can accomplish if the crunch is on.

Radical Action Plan

A couple of weeks ago, I went on a working vacation.  I call it that because I was working a little each day at my job while I was gone, but also because I was working on a music video that I’ve been waiting a year to film.  So it was very exciting to finally get that on film and to take time with my kids and friends.

Do What You Love and…

They say, do what you love and the money will follow.  Why is that?  Honestly, I can only guess it’s because when you love what you’re doing, you’ll give it much more energy and attention than something you absolutely hate.  further, when you love what you’re doing, you’ll do it no matter what, and you’ll put much more into it.  You will stick through the thick and thin in a way that you wouldn’t if you weren’t passionate about it.

One of the things I’ve struggled with most in my life is this question, what if the money doesn’t follow?

Control Your Thoughts, Control Your Life

It seems that no matter how often I stray, I always come back to this theory.  The theory is that thought is the basis of all experience.  I always tend to move away from it for various reasons, sometimes just to question my beliefs but when I give my life an honest look, Law of Attraction makes sense.  Even if it seems hokey, there is scientific evidence to support it, and I should use this knowledge to my advantage, rather than ignoring it.  So recently, I sat down and started looking at my life and asking, what am I thinking about this?  Where do I stand on this subject emotionally?

Move to Lift Your Mood

Having a bad day? Feeling down or maybe just not in the best mood?  Maybe you’re just a little tired and feeling low, but can’t get a nap. There is something you can do that is better than that energy drink.  Move.  Seriously, get up and move, dance, walk, or run, but move.

Recent University studies have shown that movement can improve your mood. In fact several of these studies have shown improvement in the outlook of patients diagnosed with severe mental illness such as depression, bi polar disorder and schizophrenia.  At Indiana University, a study found that any physical activity throughout the day has a link to improvement in mood.  This study found that low to moderate activity was adequate to improve the mood of patients with serious mental illness.

Overwhelmed! Part II

In the last part of Overwhelmed! I talked about how busy I have become and some of the small changes I’ve made in my daily routine to get more done and feel more relaxed each day.  I focused on the small changes I’ve made to my “To Do” Lists, in Part II, I will focus on the small changes I’ve made in my life to feel less overwhelmed.

Take Time For You

Overwhelmed! Part I

It seams like sometimes in life, there just aren’t enough hours in the day.  I know this has been true for me lately.  I have gotten myself involved in more projects and “to do’s” than I feel like I can handle.  Some of this is my own fault.  I seem to offer help in areas that follow my passion.  This means that I am now involved with a feature film project, a television project, and a short film project, along with a few other small parts in other films that are being filmed in my area.

What Can You Fail at Today?

Failure

Why is it so scary? Why does it paralyze so many of us from doing what is needed to achieve our dreams? And how can we move through the fear of failure in order to have what we want in life?

The mere mention of the word can stop most of us in our tracks and keep us from doing even the simplest of things toward what we want. Many of us will even act in self defeating ways in order to avoid failure. Inadvertently we set ourselves up for failure by trying to avoid it. Failure plays such a huge role in what we believe to be our social status, what people think of us and how people feel about us as a person. After all, who wants to be seen as a failure?

Gregg Braden on Reality Creation

I feel so compelled to share these videos with my readers.  They are a recording of a fantastic conversation on reality creation, quantum physics and the law of attraction.   They take about 27 minutes, but it’s well worth the time.  I am captivated at being reminded of some of the truths of our reality. :)

A Grocery List for Life

I went to the store the other day without a list and realized it takes me 3 times as long to get my shopping done when I don’t have a list.
