A Simple Question Can go a Long Way

Yesterday was Gratitude Day!!!!
So I’ve added the Appreciation Exercise to my daily routine. It’s been very refreshing to wake up and spend just a couple minutes appreciating the things I have and the things that I have experienced. I’ve also been spending the minimum 5 minutes per night just finding things to appreciate, and that has been a great way to settle down before I meditate and go to bed.
Tomorrow is the official Holiday for Gratitude!!!!!

So I’ve been thinking of all the things I have to give thanks for, and I realize, if I really focus on things I am grateful for and things in my life I appreciate, It can become a never ending list.
I’ve been randomly looking for things to appreciate for about a week or two consistently, and now I’m thinking it might be a good idea to just take 5 minutes each morning and focus on things I’m grateful and appreciative for. Just the fact that I’m breathing is something to appreciate, so I don’t have to look far for that.
Sick Today

Well today it seems I decided to get sick. Actually, I got sick yesterday, and I’m still feeling it a bit today. It’s not what I had planned for the week, but it’s what happened. I’ll spare you the details, but I will say that as much as I don’t like being sick, I really begin to appreciate my general health much more whenever I am sick. It’s a good reminder that most of the year, I am in great health. Not to mention, a good reminder that I’m carrying some heavy resistance, and I almost always know what it is.
